DMCA & Copyright Policy
Bappam respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the “DMCA”), we will respond promptly to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to our designated agent identified below.
Our content
Bappam publishes original editorial coverage — news, reviews, cast and crew details, release information and opinion — about films and web series. We do not host, stream, or provide downloads of any copyrighted film, audio, or video content. Movie posters and stills displayed on this site are used in an editorial, informational context. If you are a rights holder and believe any material on this site has been used in a way that infringes your copyright, please contact us using the process below and we will review it in good faith.
Filing a copyright infringement notice
If you believe that content on Bappam infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice to our designated agent at admin@bappam.com.in that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (including the exact URL on this website) for us to locate it.
- Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Our response
Upon receiving a valid notice that complies with the requirements above, we will act expeditiously to review and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material claimed to be infringing. We may also, at our discretion, notify the party responsible for the affected content.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notice to admin@bappam.com.in including your contact information, identification of the material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
